Jake Randall is a Senior Associate at Sapphire Ventures, working across strategy, research, and capital markets. He supports the investment team through thesis development and thematic research, and works with firm leadership to monitor capital markets and oversee the firm’s public equity portfolio.

Before joining Sapphire, Jake was a Private Equity Associate at Tritium Partners, where he evaluated buyout opportunities and served as a board observer for portfolio companies. He supported strategic finance initiatives, including incentive planning and annual financial planning. Earlier, he conducted private equity diligence at EY-Parthenon and advised on growth strategy at Monitor Deloitte.

Jake graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in Business Administration and Economics. He serves on Austin’s Economic Prosperity Commission, developing policy recommendations for City Council, and mentors through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas.

Outside work, Jake enjoys tennis, skiing, soccer, and nonfiction reading on technology and geopolitics.
